The Story: Craig Stokes is a kind, caring, and obstinate guy. After helping his church raise money for the American Cancer Society and hair donations for cancer patients through Pantene Beautiful Lengths he decided that he wanted to donate his hair too. The problem was that he is a firefighter and is required to keep his hair at a length too short to donate. So he did what any kind, caring, and obstinate guy would do, he tried to grow his hair out in secret. Long story short, it didn't work and he was accordingly reprimanded.
But, the St. Lucie County Fire District is also kind and caring. After Craig was rightly reprimanded he received permission to continue growing his hair to donate and now the time has come for Craig to lose the man-bun and Pony Up.
The Cause: Wigs for Kids. Craig has selected the non-profit, Wigs for Kids to donate his hair to. Wigs for Kids is a non-profit committed to creating custom made wigs for children who are enduring or have endured a health crisis. Each wig can take 18-20 ponytails to create and costs approximately $1,800.
The Challenge: Craig doesn't want to just donate all of his long luscious locks, he also wants to financially help Wigs for Kids. So in an effort to help raise funds, Craig is asking YOU to pony up as well.
The top 5 donors will win the opportunity take the shears to Craig's hair.
100% of proceeds will go to Wigs for Kids and are tax deductible. For questions please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
